Azeroth Survivors Tier List
This Azeroth Survivors tier list ranks all 9 classes by one number: the damage their six strongest spells deal to a crowd, taken from the game's own data. Warlock leads at 100 and Shaman sits last. The ranking is our estimate and not play-tested, and it shows its working in the method below.

What the Azeroth Survivors tiers mean
- S: 90% or more of the top class's spell power. These classes clear a crowd fastest with the spells they find.
- A: 65 to 89%. Strong damage with fewer spells that scale.
- B: 45 to 64%. Solid, and the choice to make if you prefer the health, speed or F ability.
- C: under 45%. Weaker raw spell damage, so the build leans on passives and movement.
Pick between classes on the best class guide, then plan spells with the builds guide. Every spell number is in the spells table.
How this Azeroth Survivors tier list is set
The tiers on this Azeroth Survivors tier list are our own estimate from the numbers in the game's open-source code. They are not play-tested and they are not a vote of other sites' lists.
- For every spell we take the damage of one cast (or the damage over time for spells that burn), multiply it by the enemies the spell can reach, and divide by its cooldown. That is the same rough crowd-damage-per-second figure the game itself uses to rank a class's own spells.
- For each class we add up its six strongest spells at rank 1. Six is the number of spell slots a run allows.
- The best class scores 100 and every other class is shown as a percentage of it. S is 90 and above, A is 65 to 89, B is 45 to 64 and C is under 45.
What the index leaves out: starting health, movement speed, the F ability, passives, boss behaviour and how spells combine in a real run. A low tier here means weaker raw spell damage, not an unplayable class. The game uses its figure only to compare spells inside one class, so using it between classes is our extension.

Azeroth Survivors tier list FAQ
What is the best class in Azeroth Survivors?
By our spell-number estimate the top class is Warlock, followed by Warrior and Mage. The index ignores starting health, speed and the F ability, so treat it as a starting point rather than a verdict.
Is this Azeroth Survivors tier list play-tested?
No. It is computed from the spell numbers in the game's open-source code, not from hours of play, and the page says so on every class it ranks.
Why is a low-tier class still worth playing?
The index scores only the six strongest spells at rank 1. A class with strong movement, health or utility can survive a full 15 minute run better than its damage number suggests.
How often does the Azeroth Survivors tier list change?
When the game's code changes the spell numbers. We re-read the source on each update and the date at the foot of the page says when we last did.
