Paladin spells in Azeroth Survivors
Paladin can carry up to six spells at once, each ranked up to 8. Every spell casts itself, so the choice is which spells to take from the level-up cards. Numbers below are rank 1 and come from the game's own data.
- Hammer of Wrath (projectile, 1.5 sec cooldown): Hits the nearest enemy for 16 damage.
- Consecration (ground area on you, 9 sec cooldown): Covers a 7 yd area around you for 8 sec, dealing 7 damage every second.
- Holy Shock (targeted hit, 2.5 sec cooldown): Hits the nearest enemy for 24 damage.
- Exorcism (targeted hit, 5 sec cooldown): Hits the toughest enemy in range for 36 damage.
- Holy Wrath (pulse around you, 5 sec cooldown): Deals 14 damage to every enemy within 11 yd of you.
- Hammer of Justice (targeted hit, 6 sec cooldown): Hits the 2 nearest enemies for 8 damage, stunning them for 3 sec.
- Divine Shield (immunity, 28 sec cooldown): When an enemy closes in, makes you immune to all damage for 4 sec.
- Judgement (targeted hit, 4 sec cooldown): Hits the 2 nearest enemies for 26 damage.
Paladin F ability
From level 5 Paladin gets Blessing of Freedom on the F key. Speeds you up by 60% for 5 sec. It recharges in 15 seconds, so it works as an escape when the ring of enemies closes in rather than as damage.
Paladin build tips from the numbers
The game ranks a class's spells by a rough crowd damage per second at rank 1: damage per cast times the enemies it can reach, over its cooldown. For Paladin the top six are Consecration, Holy Wrath, Judgement, Hammer of Wrath, Holy Shock and Exorcism. Divine Shield has no damage figure and is defensive.
Passives that pair with that list: Blessing of Might, Arcane Intellect and Power Word: Fortitude. These are suggestions computed from the numbers, not results from play-testing.
Where Paladin ranks
Paladin is B tier on the Azeroth Survivors tier list. The list is our estimate from the same spell numbers, so it compares the six strongest spells of each class at rank 1; it does not measure health, speed or how hard a class is to play.
How to get Paladin
Pick Paladin on the pick screen before you enter the world. The screen only offers the race and class pairings of the 1.12 game: Human, Dwarf can be Paladin.
Who should pick Paladin
Paladin suits players who want ground areas and burst hits, with a 40 health head start and a spell that makes the hero immune. Treat it as a pick from the numbers, not from play-testing.
