Hunter build tips from the numbers
The game ranks a class's spells by a rough crowd damage per second at rank 1: damage per cast times the enemies it can reach, over its cooldown. For Hunter the top six are Volley, Multi Shot, Arcane Shot, Aimed Shot, Explosive Trap and Concussive Shot.
Passives that pair with that list: Blessing of Might, Arcane Intellect and Power Word: Fortitude. These are suggestions computed from the numbers, not results from play-testing.
Where Hunter ranks
Hunter is C tier on the Azeroth Survivors tier list. The list is our estimate from the same spell numbers, so it compares the six strongest spells of each class at rank 1; it does not measure health, speed or how hard a class is to play.
