Warrior spells in Azeroth Survivors
Warrior can carry up to six spells at once, each ranked up to 8. Every spell casts itself, so the choice is which spells to take from the level-up cards. Numbers below are rank 1 and come from the game's own data.
- Cleave (melee swing, 1.1 sec cooldown): Strikes the 3 closest enemies for 14 damage.
- Heroic Strike (melee swing, 1.6 sec cooldown): Strikes the closest enemy for 28 damage.
- Whirlwind (pulse around you, 4 sec cooldown): Deals 16 damage to every enemy within 7 yd of you.
- Thunder Clap (pulse around you, 5 sec cooldown): Deals 10 damage to every enemy within 8 yd of you, slowing them by 50% for 3 sec.
- Sweeping Strikes (aura, 0.6 sec cooldown): Every 0.6 sec, deals 6 damage to every enemy within 5.5 yd of you.
- Demoralizing Shout (pulse around you, 8 sec cooldown): Deals 4 damage to every enemy within 11 yd of you, cutting their damage by 50% for 5 sec.
- Execute (targeted hit, 2 sec cooldown): Hits the 2 nearest enemies for 40 damage, killing them outright below 30% health.
- Mortal Strike (melee swing, 3 sec cooldown): Strikes the closest enemy for 48 damage.
- Retaliation (thorns, 18 sec cooldown): When enemies close in, deals 14 damage to every attacker for 8 sec.
Warrior F ability
From level 5 Warrior gets Charge on the F key. Dashes you 25 yd forward. It recharges in 8 seconds, so it works as an escape when the ring of enemies closes in rather than as damage.
Warrior build tips from the numbers
The game ranks a class's spells by a rough crowd damage per second at rank 1: damage per cast times the enemies it can reach, over its cooldown. For Warrior the top six are Sweeping Strikes, Execute, Cleave, Whirlwind, Heroic Strike and Mortal Strike. Retaliation has no damage figure and is defensive.
Passives that pair with that list: Blessing of Might, Arcane Intellect and Power Word: Fortitude. These are suggestions computed from the numbers, not results from play-testing.
Where Warrior ranks
Warrior is S tier on the Azeroth Survivors tier list. The list is our estimate from the same spell numbers, so it compares the six strongest spells of each class at rank 1; it does not measure health, speed or how hard a class is to play.
How to get Warrior
Pick Warrior on the pick screen before you enter the world. The screen only offers the race and class pairings of the 1.12 game: Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome, Orc, Undead, Tauren, Troll can be Warrior.
Who should pick Warrior
Warrior suits players who want short-range melee swings and pulses around the hero, with the most starting health. Treat it as a pick from the numbers, not from play-testing.
