Shaman spells in Azeroth Survivors
Shaman can carry up to six spells at once, each ranked up to 8. Every spell casts itself, so the choice is which spells to take from the level-up cards. Numbers below are rank 1 and come from the game's own data.
- Lightning Bolt (projectile, 1.3 sec cooldown): Hits the nearest enemy for 15 damage.
- Chain Lightning (chain, 3 sec cooldown): Strikes the nearest enemy for 18 damage, then jumps to 3 more within 9 yd of each other, 15% weaker with every jump.
- Earth Shock (targeted hit, 2.5 sec cooldown): Hits the nearest enemy for 22 damage.
- Flame Shock (targeted hit, 3 sec cooldown): Hits the 2 nearest enemies for 10 damage, then 4 damage every second for 9 sec.
- Frost Shock (targeted hit, 3 sec cooldown): Hits the nearest enemy for 16 damage, slowing them by 50% for 4 sec.
- Searing Totem (totem, 14 sec cooldown): Drops a totem for 14 sec that hits the nearest enemy within 20 yd for 9 damage every second.
- Magma Totem (totem, 16 sec cooldown): Drops a totem for 14 sec that burns every enemy within 7 yd for 8 damage every 2 sec.
- Lightning Shield (orbiting zap, 0.9 sec cooldown): Every 0.9 sec, zaps an enemy within 4 yd of you for 12 damage.
Shaman F ability
From level 5 Shaman gets Ghost Wolf on the F key. Speeds you up by 60% for 6 sec. It recharges in 15 seconds, so it works as an escape when the ring of enemies closes in rather than as damage.
Shaman build tips from the numbers
The game ranks a class's spells by a rough crowd damage per second at rank 1: damage per cast times the enemies it can reach, over its cooldown. For Shaman the top six are Chain Lightning, Lightning Shield, Lightning Bolt, Earth Shock, Flame Shock and Frost Shock. Searing Totem and Magma Totem have no damage figure and are defensive.
Passives that pair with that list: Blessing of Might, Arcane Intellect and Power Word: Fortitude. These are suggestions computed from the numbers, not results from play-testing.
Where Shaman ranks
Shaman is C tier on the Azeroth Survivors tier list. The list is our estimate from the same spell numbers, so it compares the six strongest spells of each class at rank 1; it does not measure health, speed or how hard a class is to play.
How to get Shaman
Pick Shaman on the pick screen before you enter the world. The screen only offers the race and class pairings of the 1.12 game: Orc, Tauren, Troll can be Shaman.
Who should pick Shaman
Shaman suits players who want bolts, chain lightning and totems, with a 15 health head start. Treat it as a pick from the numbers, not from play-testing.
